The New Chow Soi Restaurant and Guest House, Soi Chiapoon, Pattaya is located off Soi Buakow right in the heart of Pattaya and all the action. Not officially classed as a "Guest House" in my opinion but great rooms in a central location. If you are looking for cheap accommodation whether it be a Guest House or Rooms, you can not go wrong with the "New Chow Soi"

All the rooms are well appointed with king size bed's, A/C, hot shower, cable TV, DVD player, kettle,(New Rooms 42" Plasma T.V.) other 29" flat screen TV, large fridge and digital Safe in room, which a lot of other "Guest Houses" and budget accommodation do not have. Getting access to a safety deposit box in reception late at night can be a real bind! The bathrooms are very nicely finished too. All rooms are cleaned daily and unlike other budget accommodation in Pattaya there is no charge for electric and water.

The "New Chow Soi" was fully refurbished in 2008 and all rooms have free WI-FI Internet.
Rates start at 550 Baht for the standard sized rooms and are 600Baht for the large room (2) For the budget minded traveler this accommodation comes highly rated.

There are Guest Houses to suit every taste and pocket, for the back packer to the long stay tourist who wishes to spend his money on more exotic things? Regardless of what type of holiday you are on there will always be a guest house for you.

Among the features which distinguish a guest house from a hotel is the lack of full-time staff. Guest Houses tend to be owner managed due to their size with the family living on the premises or very near by. Hotels maintain a staff presence 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.

In Pattaya the manager of the Guest House will probably issue you with a key so you can let your self in at night as the staff will have finished for the day.

Due to the smaller number of staff, cleaning and laundry may only be carried out every other day or every third day.
